Letters - Inquiry

We check out people's trustworthiness before allowing them in our home. We don't just pick someone out of a crowd and invite them to house sit for us while away. We verify mechanics and contractors before they do work for us. Why then, not ask questions of companies that could have access to the constructs of your very identity some quesions to ensure you can trust them? These are example letters (emails) sent to companies to request additional details regarding privacy policies or to just generally get an understanding of the companies perspectives on social responsibility.
