Initialization
There is a one-time setup process that needs to take place after installing Fautore. Keep in mind that Fautore works on a "Tribe" concept. There is an unseen tribe member called the "Chieftain" that will be assigned a password. The tribe will be named and at least one tribe member created.
Access Fautore
Access Fautore the same as any other time. The initialization process will start automatically if it has not been run yet.
Database
Fautore operates on top of a database. There is no database management involved, just an initialization process to build the database when Fautore is first run. Click "Proceed with Initialisation" to build the database. This can take a minute or few depending on your computer.
After agreeing to proceed a screen will appear showing a progression of dots to indicate something is indeed happenning and your not locked up.
Tribe Ownership
The entered Tribe Ownership values define the overall ownership of the application. You can just fill in values applicable to yourself if you like, however first timers are recommended to click the below plus sign [+] for terminology definitions as related to the fields to be filled in.

Soon to be called "Tribe Name," That's exactly what it is.This fields provides for a name that will be used to identify your tribe when invitations to connect are sent to other tribes. This is generally used to identify your tribe to any external entity outside your tribe. |

Soon to be called "Tribe Description," A description that says something about this tribe. Businesses installing a tribe might want to put in a brief description of their products and/or services. |
| Password for login for this tribe |
Soon to be called "Tribe password," this field holds the password used to log in as the master administrator of the tribe know as the "Chieftain." This is an open text password field. Take suitable precautions. |
| Tribe owners name |
Soon to be called "Tribe owner," this field is information only. The value of this field is not used as a login to the Fautore environment. The main administrative member of the tribe is "Chieftain," inherent to the system and cannot be changed. |
| Tribe owners email address |
Soon to be "Tribe email," used to advertise an email address for use to contact the tribe owner by the method when applicable to do so. This could be considered a transition field intended to bridge the gap until Fautore, or OCE's in general, become more widely used. |
The "Create First Tribe" button (soon to be "Create Tribe") is essentially the "Submit" button to proceed with saving the data and setting up the values for the once. Once clicked you have a 100% functioning Fautore Tribe that does absolutely nothing. The next things you'll want to do is create some tribe members and register applications to work with the OCE. (Your tribe is an OCE or Online Communication Engine by its "official" technical name.)
Initialized Main Screen
Once initialization is complete the main screen of Fautore will appear. This screen will be empty except for basic tribe information and the control buttons. This screen will fill out with lists of local and remote tribe members as the software is used.
